Toshiba zyska 800 mln dol.
Koncern poinformował, ile zarobi na sprzedaży kolejnej części firmy.
Toshiba dogadała się w sprawie sprzedaży swojego biznesu AGD z chińską grupą Midea. Poinformowała, że zysk z transakcji (przed opodatkowaniem) wyniesie 90 mld jenów, tj. 801,7 mln dol. Cała kwota zostanie zaksięgowana w bilansie I kw. nowego roku finansowego (II kw. 2016 r.).
Midea przejmie 80,1 proc. udziałów w spółce AGD Toshiby za 53,7 mld jenów (478,3 mld dol.). Toshiba wyjaśnia, że przewidywany zysk jest większy niż wartość sprzedaży, ponieważ z bilansu znikną długi spółki AGD.
Sprzedaż jest związana z restrukturyzacją Toshiby i dążeniem do zmniejszenia strat, jakie firma poniosła w mijającym roku finansowym (zakończy się 31 marca). Przewidywana strata netto Toshiby w całym roku to 6,2 mld dol.
