Producent zaprezentował nowe laptopy Satellite Pro w rozmiarach 15,6 oraz 17,3 cala.
Nowe modele to L50 (mniejszy) i L70 (większy). Zostaną zaoferowane z procesorami Intel Core 3. generacji i dyskami twardymi o pojemności 500 GB (7200 obr./min.) lub 750 GB (5400 obr./min.). Dostępne będą wersje z kartą graficzną Nvidia GT740. Laptopy mają porty USB 3.0, USB 2.0, w tym z funkcją Sleep-and-Charge (umożliwia ładowanie urządzenia podłączonego do USB także wtedy, gdy komputer jest wyłączony). Dzięki złączom HDMI i VGA oraz karcie Nvidii obraz można wyświetlać na 3 ekranach jednocześnie (na wbudowanym wyświetlaczu laptopa i dwóch zewnętrznych monitorach). W pakiecie jest oprogramowanie Toshiba Split Screen Utility (umożliwia m.in. uporządkowanie otwartych okien na pulpicie). Oba modele będą dostępne w III kw. br. z systemem Windows 8 Pro albo Windows 7 Pro.
W sprzedaży pojawi się także inny duet Satellite Pro – C50 i C70. Od modeli L różni się m.in. kartami graficznymi – oferowane wersje to Nvidia GeForce 710M lub Nvidia GeForce GT740M.
Producent nie podał cen urządzeń. Na rynku brytyjskim według Techradar ceny L50 i C50 zaczynają się od 299 funtów.
