Producent zaprezentował ultrabooka Portégé Z830 z 13,3-calowym ekranem i dyskiem SSD. Laptop waży 1,1 kg.
Komputer został wyposażony w procesor Intel Core drugiej generacji i napęd SSD o pojemności 128 GB. Maksymalna pojemność RAM-u wynosi 6 GB. Z830 ma 1 złącze USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 oraz 1 HDMI. Opcjonalnie jest dostępny modem 3G i czytnik linii papilarnych.
Obudowę ultrabooka wykonano z magnezu w strukturze plastra miodu. Według producenta sprzęt wytrzymuje upadek z wysokości do 70 cm. Wnętrze jest odporne na zalanie do 30 ml płynu.
Ultrabook będzie dostępny na polskim rynku w IV kwartale. Według producenta ceny będą zaczynać się od 1 tys. dol. (cena na polski rynek nie została jeszcze określona).
