Thomas-Krenn: serwery blade Supermicro
Producent wprowadził do sprzedaży serwery kasetowe zbudowane na platformie Supermicro.
W ofercie znalazły się serwery SBI-7426T-S3 wyposażone w dwa procesory Intel Xeon 5600 (4 lub 6 rdzeni) oraz do 48 GB RAM DRR3. W urządzeniu mieszczą się 3 dyski SAS (maksymalnie 1,8 TB) lub SATA i SSD (do 480 GB). Można też podłączyć zewnętrzną pamięć masową. W ofercie znalazła się również obudowa blade SBE-714E (7U) przeznaczona do instalacji do 14 serwerów (w sumie 168 rdzeni i 672 GB RAM). W zestawie są 4 zasilacze o mocy 1620 W i sprawności 93 proc.
Ceny detaliczne netto: Supermicro Processor Blade SBI-7426T-S3 – od 4,9 tys. zł, Supermicro Blade SBE-714E – od 17 tys. zł. Standardowy okres gwarancji: 1 rok.

Fujitsu wprowadziło na rynek 4 moduły serwerowe z serii Primergy BX oraz obudowę BX900 S1 Dynamic Cube. Wśród nowości znalazł się serwer z czterema procesorami i 0,5 TB RAM.
