Thecus w ABC Dacie
Portfolio dystrybutora poszerzyło się o produkty firmy Thecus, specjalizującej się w projektowaniu i sprzedaży rozwiązań pamięci masowych. W ofercie ABC Daty znalazły się trzy klasy urządzeń.
Pierwsza klasa to maszyny przeznaczone dla użytkowników domowych i małych biur, wyposażone w dwa lub cztery miejsca na dyski. Wśród nich jest model N2310 o maksymalnej pojemności 8 TB. Zainstalowano w nim procesor 800 MHz i 512 GB RAM-u. Wszystkie modele z tej kategorii mają interfejs USB 3.0, a większość również HDMI.
Druga klasa urządzeń jest przeznaczona dla małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw. Są to dyski sieciowe NAS w obudowach typu tower z możliwością instalacji dwóch, czterech, pięciu lub siedmiu nośników. Wśród nich znajduje się pięciodyskowy model N5550 wyposażony w dwurdzeniowy procesor Intel Atom (1,86 GHz), 2 GB RAM-u, 4 porty USB 2.0, 1 port USB 3.0, a także złącza HDMI i VGA.
Najbardziej zaawansowanymi produktami Thecusa są NAS-y klasy Enterprise. Mają obudowy typu tower lub rack oraz możliwość podłączenia od 4 do 16 dysków o maksymalnej łącznej pojemności 64 TB. Modele N7710-G i N8810U-G są wyposażono w kartę sieciową 10 Gb.
Produkty marki Thecus będą dostępne w ABC Dacie na terenie Polski, Czech, Węgier, Słowacji, Rumunii, Litwy, Łotwy i Estonii.

Dokładnie 20 lat temu napisałem artykuł zatytułowany „Sprzedaż beznamiętna”, w którym opisałem ówczesny rynek systemów do dystrybucji on-line. Królem naszej polskiej „wioski” był wtedy, a jakże, InterLink. Fenomen tego systemu polegał jednak na tym, że był także królem znacznie większej wioski - tej globalnej.
