Telewizory Sharp w nowej spółce
Sharp nabył pakiet kontrolny akcji Skytec UMC. W wyniku transakcji powstanie nowa spółka, która zajmie się produkcją i sprzedażą wyrobów audio-video marki Sharp w Europie.
Sharp Corporation wykupił 56,7 proc. akcji Skytec UMC – podała Polska Agencja Prasowa. Celem połączenia działań obu firm jest stworzenie podmiotu zdolnego zająć kluczową pozycję na europejskim rynku elektroniki, w szczególności w segmencie telewizorów.
Utworzona spółka zależna będzie działać pod szyldem Sharpa. Sharp zapewni jej swoje doświadczenia z zakresu innowacyjności a będąca jego partnerem Foxconn Technology Group udostępni metody produkcyjne. Skytec UMC wniesie natomiast w udziale znajomość europejskiego rynku, kontakty z klientami oraz posiadaną infrastrukturę produkcyjno-sprzedażową. W skład nowej spółki zależnej wejdzie m.in. zakład produkcyjny w Polsce.
