Tech Data przebudowuje biznes mobilny
Dystrybutor utworzył Tech Data Mobile Solutions – nową jednostkę, która obejmie sprzęt, oprogramowanie i rozwiązania mobilne.
Mobile Solutions konsoliduje w ramach jednolitej struktury rozwiązania mobilne i związane z nimi operacje. Obejmie wszystko od aplikacji i zabezpieczeń po urządzenia „do noszenia na sobie”. Nową jednostką pokieruje Rod Millar jako senior vice president Tech Data Mobile Solutions. Wcześniej menedżer był szefem Tech Data Mobile w Europie. Teraz do jego obowiązków oprócz zadań strategicznych należy rozwój współpracy z partnerami i klientami w całym obszarze rozwiązań mobilnych Tech Daty, także w Europie. – Nowa struktura lepiej łączy nasze zasoby – wyjaśnia Bob Dutkowsky, CEO Tech Daty, podkreślając zaangażowanie dystrybutora w rosnącym segmencie rynku. – Chcemy ułatwić VAR-om wprowadzanie na rynek rozwiązań mobilnych – zapewnia Joe Quaglia, szef firmy za oceanem.
