Nawet nowe iPady nie pobudzają popytu. Zanosi się na rekordowy dołek sprzedaży w II kw. br.
Tablety coraz mniej interesują klientów. W II kw. br. spodziewany jest kolejny rekordowy dołek sprzedażowy na poziomie 31,06 mln szt., o 6,2 proc. mniej niż w I kw. br., gdy sprzedaż wyniosła na świecie 33 mln szt. Był to spadek o 28,2 proc. wobec IV kw. ub.r. oraz o prawie 15 proc. rok do roku – ustalił Digitimes Research.
Dołek odnotowano mimo premiery nowych iPadów w 2018 r. Apple nie obniżył jednak cen, tak jak oczekiwano. Na rynek trafiły urządzenia do edukacji w cenie ok. 300 dol. za szt.
W II kw. br. wejdzie do sprzedaży kolejna wersja biznesowego iPada Pro, swoje urządzenia wprowadzi też Amazon, ale zdaniem analityków i tak nie zatrzyma to odpływu klientów. Producenci poza największymi graczami nie są w stanie generować dużego popytu, a zapasy sprzętu u odbiorców urządzeń "white-box" rosną. Lepiej wciąż sobie radzą markowi producenci. W ich przypadku spadek w II kw. br. ma wynieść tylko 2,7 proc. wobec I kw. br.
