Synology: serwer NAS z pamięcią 45 TB
Producent poszerzył ofertę o serwer NAS DiskStation DS1511+, do którego można podłączyć 15 dysków o pojemności 45 TB.
Urządzenie wyposażono w dwurdzeniowy procesor 1,8 GHz i 1 GB RAM (maksymalnie 3 GB). Serwer mieści pięć dysków twardych, każdy o pojemności do 3 TB. Po podłączeniu dwóch modułów rozszerzających DX510 system można powiększyć do 15 dysków o łącznej pojemności 45 TB. Użytkownik ma możliwość wymiany napędów podczas pracy (funkcja hot-swap). Maksymalna prędkość odczytu danych wynosi 197,8 MB/s, a zapisu – 165,91 MB/s.
Serwer jest zarządzany przez system operacyjny DiskStation Manager 3.0 (DSM 3.0). Urządzenie może pełnić funkcję pamięci masowej serwerów wirtualizacji (VMware, Microsoftu i Citriksa). Program Synology Web Station umożliwia udostępnianie na DS1511+ do 30 witryn internetowych. Według producenta podczas pracy maszyna pobiera 68 W energii.
