Synology: serwer NAS na 24 dyski
Oferta Synology powiększyła się o serwer NAS DiskStation DS2411+, przystosowany do instalacji 12 dysków albo 24 napadów po dołączeniu modułu rozszerzającego.
DS2411+ wyposażono w dwurdzeniowy procesor taktowany z częstotliwością 1,8 GHz i 1 GB RAM DDR2 (z możliwością rozszerzenia do 3 GB). Wykorzystując moduł rozszerzający DX1211 do urządzenia można podłączyć 24 dyski o łącznej pojemności 72 TB. DS2411+ ma dwa porty LAN. W konfiguracji dysków RAID5 prędkość zapisu wynosi 167 MB/s, a odczytu – 202 MB/s. Według producenta serwer pobiera 105 W energii, a w czasie hibernacji – 39 W. W trybie głębokiego uśpienia pobór prądu spada o 95 proc. W urządzeniu zainstalowano system DiskStation Manger 3.1.
DS2411+ można zintegrować m.in. z VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer i Microsoft® Hyper-V.
