RackStation RS3614xs+ to 12-kieszeniowe urządzenie do przechowywania danych. Pojemność można poszerzyć do 144 TB.
RS3614xs+ wyposażono w czterordzeniowy procesor (3,3 GHz), 8 GB pamięci ECC RAM (maksymalnie 32 GB), dwa sloty PCIe, które umożliwiają do 4 połączeń sieciowych 10 GbE. Przepustowość wynosi ponad 3200 MB/s i 620 tys. IOPS w konfiguracji RAID 5. Dwa moduły rozszerzające – RX1214/RX1214RP – pozwalają na powiększenie pojemności do 144 TB. Dyski można podłączyć poprzez interfejs SATA III 6 Gb/s.
Dane są szyfrowane w standardzie AES. Usługa Synology High Availability umożliwia przełączanie awaryjne w klastrze. Pakiet mechanizmów redundancji sprzętowej obejmujący nadmiarowe zasilacze, wentylatory systemowe i porty sieciowe z obsługą przełączania awaryjnego pozwala zmaksymalizować czas pracy.
