Tandberg Data ma w ofercie nowy streamer Tandberg SLR7. Urządzanie zapisuje dane z szybkością 10,8 MB/godz. na kasetach o pojemności 20 GB (dane bez kompresji). Napęd ma bufor danych o pojemności 8 MB z kompresją Inline. Jest kompatybilny z napędami SLR5. Do komputera podłączany jest z wykorzystaniem interfejsu SCSI-Ultra2 i Wide LVD/SE.
Tandberg SLR7 oferowany jest w trzech konfiguracjach: jako kompletne rozwiązanie dla serwera z oprogramowaniem ARCserve firmy Computer Associates dla Windows NT/2000 i Novell NetWare, jako Drive Kit z kablem, kasetą, kasetą czyszczącą i instrukcją instalacji oraz jako Bare Drive.
Napęd objęty jest trzyletnią gwarancją, dystrybutorzy świadczą też szybki serwis wymienny na terenie Polski oraz bezpłatną pomoc techniczną. Sugerowana cena detaliczna netto napędu w wersji wewnętrznej wynosi 995 euro.
