SSD: możliwy finisz jazdy w dół
Ceny dalej spadają, ale hamowanie może nastąpić już wkrótce - oceniają analitycy.
Ceny kontraktowe SSD oraz nośników eMMC/UFS będą nadal spadać w III kw. br. – uważa DRAMeXchange, dywizja Trendforce. W przypadku klienckich SSD dołek wynosi jak dotąd blisko 10 proc. wobec II kw. br., a dla SSD dla przedsiębiorstw – co najmniej 15 proc. Stawki za eMMC/UFS są niższe o ok. 5 proc. Powody to wciąż słaby popyt mimo rozpoczynającego się szczytu sezonu oraz pełne magazyny.
Jednak zdaniem analityków ceny klienckich komponentów mogą ustabilizować się w IV kw. br. Możliwe jest zastopowanie spadków ze względu na ograniczenie zapasów.
W przypadku SSD klasy enterprise nie należy jednak spodziewać się zmiany trendu. Zdaniem DRAMeXchange w IV kw. br. zaczną ujawniać się skutki czerwcowej awarii w fabryce Toshiby, powodując niewielkie spadki cen (mimo że wkrótce po awarii ceny wafli wzrosły), gdy poziom zapasów dostawców będzie powracać do bardziej umiarkowanych poziomów. Ponadto z powodu ostrej konkurencji oczekiwane są niewielkie spadki cen SSD dla sektora korporacyjnego.
