Spółka Optimusa ma sprawę we francuskim sądzie
Namco, francuski kontrahent CD Projekt Red, wstrzymał wypłatę ponad 1 mln euro z tytułu rozliczeń handlowych i złożył pozew w sądzie.
W zeszłym roku CD Projekt zawarł z Namco umowę na dystrybucję Wiedźmina 2. Kontrahent zarzuca spółce Optimusa niedotrzymanie warunków kontaktu – chodzi m.in. o to, że zdaniem Namco CDP Red uniemożliwił realizację opcji pierwszeństwa dystrybucji gry na konsolę Xbox 360 (taką ofertę otrzymała inna firma – THQ) i usunął zabezpieczenia DRM. Namco wstrzymało wypłatę 1,25 mln euro wynagrodzenia dla spółki Optimusa i poszło do sądu. Domaga się utrzymania w mocy umowy z CDP Red i wydania zakazu dystrybucji Wiedźmina na Xbox 360 przez THQ.
Zdaniem zarządu Optimusa roszczenia Namco są bezzasadne. Postępowanie rozpoczęło się przed sądem gospodarczym w Lyonie.
