Spadły przychody firm telekomunikacyjnych
W 2009 roku wartość rynku telekomunikacyjnego zmniejszyła się o 13 procent w porównaniu z rokiem 2008 - poinformował Urząd Komunikacji Elektronicznej.
W zeszłym roku przychody firm z branży zamknęły się kwotą 42,2 mld zł, podczas gdy w 2008 r. było to 48,6 mld zł. Statystyka uwzględnia wpływy przedsiębiorstw telekomunikacyjnych z tytułu działalności operacyjnej. Wartość rynku telefonii komórkowej, mierzona przychodami operatorów z usług detalicznych, wyniosła 18,6 mld zł, a rynek usług internetowych był wart 4,07 mld zł, czyli o 51 procent więcej niż 2007 roku. UKE poinformowała również o spadku przychodów z detalicznych usług telefonii stacjonarnej o 45 procent w latach 2005-2009. W liczbach bezwględnych wielkości przychodów wynosiły odpowiednio ponad 11,6 mld zł w 2005 r. i 6,4 mld zł w 2009 r. Mimo słabszych wyników w 2009 r., w ciągu ostatnich 5 lat cały rynek wzrósł o 12 procent. W 2005 roku przychody polskich operatorów telekomunikacyjnych wynosiły 37,7 mld zł.
