Sophos: UTM z Wi-Fi 802.11ac
Producent wprowadził do oferty urządzenia UTM ze zintegrowanym Wi-Fi w standardzie ac.
Modele z serii SG 125W i SG 135W łączą dostęp bezprzewodowy w standardzie ac z wbudowanym firewallem sprzętowym. Jego przepustowość wynosi odpowiednio 3,1 Gb/s i 6 Gb/s, a przepustowość VNP – 500 Mb/s i 1 Gb/s. Urządzenia mają po 8 portów gigabitowego Ethernetu, 2 USB 2.0, RJ45 oraz VGA.
Sophos rozszerzył także ofertę o desktopowe punkty dostępu oraz zestawy do montażu na ścianie, a także model do użytkowania na zewnątrz – AP 100X. Wszystkie są zbudowane na czipsetach 802.11n i 802.11ac. Bezprzewodowe punkty dostępu mogą być zarządzane bezpośrednio z urządzeń z serii SG.
Zgodnie z badaniem Sophosa ponad 1/3 respondentów korzystających już z urządzeń ze standardem 802.11ac lub planującą je wdrożyć w przeciągu kolejnych 12 miesięcy.
Przykładowa cena: 2221 euro (9106 zł po kursie 4,10 zł za 1 euro) za SG 135. Okres gwarancji zależy od licencji na korzystanie z produktu.
