Sony: w telewizorach Bravia grozi samozapłon
Producent poinformował, że niektóre telewizory LCD Bravia mogą mieć wadę, powodującą zapalenie się jednego z podzespołów i stopienie obudowy. Ruszyła akcja darmowego przeglądu i naprawy urządzeń. Do sprawdzenia jest 1,6 mln odbiorników.
Problem dotyczy urządzeń dostępnych od czerwca 2007 r., które trafiły do Japonii, USA i Europy. Jeden z wadliwych podzespołów może ulec przegrzaniu i zapalić się. W efekcie dochodzi do stopienia części obudowy. Jak na razie stwierdzono 11 takich przypadków – wszystkie w Japonii. Nikt nie odniósł obrażeń, nie było także strat materialnych (nie licząc feralnych telewizorów). Producent zapewnił, że niesprawny element zamontowano w ograniczonej liczbie odbiorników. Zagrożone modele to KDL-40D3400, KDL-40D3500, KDL-40D3550, KDL-40D3660, KDL-40V3000, KDL-40W3000, KDL-40X3000 i KDL-40X3500. Posiadacze tego typu sprzętu powinni skontaktować się z centrum serwisowym Sony. W razie stwierdzenia nieprawidłowości podczas odbioru (np. nietypowy hałas, nietypowy zapach lub dym) producent radzi niezwłocznie odłączyć telewizor z gniazda sieciowego (wtedy nic nie grozi).
