Atos i Siemens przedłużyli umowę w ramach partnerstwa strategicznego istniejącego od 2011 r. Łączna wartość kontraktów zawartych na kolejne 5 lat wynosi 3 mld euro.

Nowością jest, że firmy wyjdą poza współpracę technologiczną, aby wprowadzić na rynek wspólne rozwiązania. Inicjatywa „go-to-market” wykorzysta dotychczasowe 330 mln euro ze wspólnych inwestycji. Nie podano jednak konkretów. „Będziemy nadal łączyć siły i wiedzę obu firm, aby dostarczać naszym klientom innowacyjne rozwiązania cyfrowe i wykorzystywać pojawiające się możliwości” – zapowiedział Roland Busch, Deputy CEO w Siemens AG.
Ponadto współpraca z trzema spółkami Siemensa obejmie usługi i nowe inwestycje.
Dyrektor operacyjny Atosa zapowiada dostarczanie rozwiązań w obszarze: cyfrowych miejsc pracy, modernizacji aplikacji, wykorzystania nowej hybrydowej platformy chmurowej, platformy cyfrowej, integracji i bezpieczeństwa.
