Sharp wrócił na europejski rynek smartfonów
Pod skrzydłami Foxconna producent poszerza działalność.
Oficjalny powrót Sharpa na rynek smartfonów w Europie ogłosił wiceprezes firmy na targach IFA w Berlinie. Na początek do sprzedaży wejdą trzy modele. Dotychczas Sharp oferował smartfony w Japonii. Wiceprezes zapewnia, że firma ma solidne zaplecze w postaci trwających od lat działań w zakresie B&R.
Wejście firmy na europejski rynek smartfonów i plany ekspansji zapowiedziano rok temu.
Sharp rozwija się po przejęciu firmy w 2016 r. przez Foxconna za 3,5 mld dol. Dzięki temu japońska marka uzyskała solidny zastrzyk finansowy. Może również korzystać z zaplecza produkcyjnego jednego z największych producentów elektroniki ODM.
Sharp powraca także na rynek laptopów. W czerwcu br. przejął biznes PC Toshiby.
