Secureworks zwiększa inwestycje w UE
Amerykański dostawca usług bezpieczeństwa podjął działania mające na celu spełnienie wymagań klientów z Unii Europejskiej odnośnie do miejsca przechowywania i kontroli ich danych.
Secureworks wdrożył przestrzeń centrum danych we Frankfurcie, aby spełnić wymagania swoich klientów w zakresie suwerenności ich danych. Uruchomiono ją w tym tygodniu. Ma dawać klientom z UE i partnerom handlowym większą kontrolę nad lokalizacją danych. Secureworks przyznaje, że europejscy klienci potrzebują gwarancji bezpieczeństwa danych podczas przesyłania. Dodaje też, że szybko zdał sobie sprawę, że jego rozwój w regionie może się ograniczyć, jeśli nie będzie w stanie zapewnić klientom opcji lokalnego przechowywania.
W maju br. umowę dystrybucyjną z Secureworks podpisała Tech Data, aby wspierać sprzedawców i partnerów MSP w całej Europie. Wcześniej, w marcu, paneuropejską umowę dystrybucyjną z Secureworks podpisał Arrow Electronics.
