Rdzenie graficzne Sapphire HD 5970 są wykonane w procesie technologicznym 40nm. Nowy model współpracuje z instrukcjami Direct Compute 11, ATI Stream, obsługuje sprzętową tesselację, wielowątkowe przetwarzanie oraz umożliwia podłączenie do trzech monitorów jednocześnie dzięki technice Eyefinity.
Produkt zaopatrzono 1600 procesorów strumieniowych, 160 jednostek teksturujących oraz 2 GB pamięci GDDR5. GPU pracują z prędkością 735 MHz, a pamięci 1010 MHz (4,04 GHz efektywnie).
Wydajność HD 5970 OC można podnieść poprzez overclocking, który na tej karcie wspomaga oprogramowanie Sapphire Redline. Program pozwala na podniesienie napięcia zasilającego rdzenie graficzne i pamięci RAM.

W czwartek 29 stycznia prowizje interchange zostaną obniżone do 0,3 proc. w przypadku transakcji kartą kredytową i 0,2 proc. dla karty debetowej.

Od nowego roku stawki interchange nie będą mogły być wyższe niż 0,3 proc. kwoty transakcji – zakłada projekt ustawy uchwalony przez Sejm.
