Producent zaprezentował Tab Active, swój pierwszy tablet zaprojektowany dla użytkowników biznesowych.
Urządzenie ma 8-calowy ekran WXGA (1280 x 800 pikseli), 1,5 GB RAM-u i 16 GB pamięci (którą można powiększyć kartą flash o 64 GB). Działa z systemem Android 4.4. W zależności od wersji zainstalowano procesor APQ8026 (model z Wi-Fi) lub MSM8926 (LTE). Wśród modułów łączności są NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Blutetooth, USB 2.0. Złącze POGO pin umożliwia ładowanie kilku urządzeń. Aparat o rozdzielczości 3,1 Mpix pozwala na skanowanie kodów kreskowych.
Obudowa jest odporna na wodę i kurz zgodnie z normą IP67. Wytrzymuje upadek z wysokości 1,2 metra. Waga urządzenia do 388 g.
Ekran dotykowy tabletu można obsługiwać palcami lub za pomocą znajdującego się w zestawie elektronicznego rysika. Bateria o pojemności 4450 mAh według producenta wystarcza na 8-10 godz. pracy. Można ją wymieniać.
Producent nie podał ceny urządzenia ani daty premiery na polskim rynku.
