Salumanus rozszerzył ofertę konwerterów mediów o nowe urządzenie – FRM220-1000EAS marki CTC Union. Jest to zarządzalny konwerter wyposażony w 2 porty RJ-45 oraz 2 sloty SFP w standardzie Gigabit Ethernet. Może pełnić funkcje dwóch niezależnych konwerterów lub 4-portowego przełącznika oraz pracować w trybach redundancji, agregacji łącza optycznego i mirror-sniffing.
Urządzenie, zarówno w wersji stand-alone jak i zainstalowane w półce FRM220-CH20 może być zarządzane przez IP (Telnet, SNMP, Web-GUI) oraz w paśmie (zgodnie z protokołem 802.3ah-OAM).
Sugerowana cena detaliczna netto konwertera FRM220-1000EAS wynosi 520 dol.
