Ruszyło medyczne centrum danych w chmurze
We Wrocławiu uruchomiono Medyczne Centrum Przetwarzania Danych (ItQ Data Center). Skutkiem może być zmniejszenie inwestycji IT w szpitalach, przychodniach i gabinetach lekarskich.
Utworzenie Medycznego Centrum Przetwarzania Danych (ItQ Data Center) jest związane ustawowym obowiązkiem wdrażania elektronicznej dokumentacji medycznej, który wejdzie w życie za trzy lata. Od 1 sierpnia 2017 r. dane pacjentów mają być dokumentowane wyłącznie w formie elektronicznej. ItQ Data Center ma odciążyć szpitale, przychodnie i gabinety lekarskie. Nie będą musiały inwestować w zakup, utrzymanie i zabezpieczenie własnych systemów IT. Lekarz będzie mógł przez Internet sięgnąć do elektronicznej kartoteki medycznej pacjenta.
MCPD docelowo będzie wyposażone w 512 szaf serwerowych, do 42 serwerów w każdej.
Koszt inwestycji – 230 mln zł – w tym 85 proc. dofinansowania z UE z Programu Operacyjnego Innowacyjna Gospodarka, Działanie 5.3. Projekt realizowała spółka Data Techno Park.
