Reseller z nielegalnym oprogramowaniem
Krakowska policja namierzyła sklep, w którym sprzedawano pirackie oprogramowanie do nawigacji.
W związku ze sprawą zatrzymano dwóch mężczyzn. Jeden to właściciel sklepu, a drugi, jak to określiła policja, pomagał koledze. Obaj prawdopodobnie usłyszą zarzuty kradzieży cudzego programu komputerowego w celu uzyskania korzyści majątkowej, za co grozi do 5 lat pozbawienia wolności.
Podczas przeszukania sklepu funkcjonariusze zabezpieczyli 307 kart mikro-SD z mapami do nawigacji GPS, 14 urządzeń z już wgranym pirackim oprogramowaniem, 215 płyt CD z programami do nawigacji oraz 3 komputery. Oryginalne aplikacje, w zależności od rodzaju, kosztowały do 420 zł. Podróbki sprzedawano za 20 – 40 zł. Producent oprogramowania oszacował swoje straty na ok. 200 tys. zł.
