QSAN: macierze nowej generacji
XCubeSAN jest kolejną generacją platformy SAN tajwańskiego producenta, a XCubeDAS - nową generacją DAS (Direct-Attached Storage).
XCubeSAN XS5200 oraz XCubeDAS XD5300 to macierze z procesorami Intel Xeon D-1500, pamięcią DDR4 ECC, z portami 20x 10 Gb iSCSI lub 16x 16 Gb Fibre Channel, wyposażone w auto tiering oraz super kondensator dla zabezpieczenia pamięci technologią C2F. XS5200 cechuje wydajność na poziomie 12 GB/s przy odczycie i 8 GB/s przy zapisie oraz ponad 1,5 mln IOPS. Seria będzie obsługiwała dyski SED, zabezpieczenia “iSCSI Force Field” przed atakami DDoS. XD5300 natywnie obsługuje technologie 12G SAS 3.0 przez co może służyć jako jednostka rozszerzająca XCubeSAN.
Ceny netto: NAS-y 4-dyskowe w wersji rack: od 1 tys. dol. netto (ok. 3950 zł), macierz SAN 16 dysków iSCSI: 3,9 tys. dol. (ok. 15,4 tys. zł), macierz SAN 12 dysków FC: 4,8 tys. dol. (ok. 19 tys. zł). Gwarancja: 3 lata.
