Serwer TS-431U Turbo NAS to model w obudowie serwerowej 1U. Można w nim umieścić 4 dyski HDD lub SSD. Prędkość odczytu danych sięga 148 MB/s.
Urządzenie wyposażono w dwurdzeniowy procesor Freescale (1,2 GHz) i 1 GB RAM-u. Maksymalna prędkość odczytu danych wynosi 148 MB/s, a zapisu – 119 MB/s. Serwer ma dwa łącza Gigabit LAN. Może pracować w dwóch niezależnych adresach IP lub w sieciach, równoważąc obciążenie przy użyciu agregacji portów. Są także porty USB 3.0 i 2.0.
Wśród funkcji jest udostępnianie plików w systemach Windows, Mac oraz Linux/Unix, usługi katalogowe LDAP, rozwiązania do backupu w środowisku Windows oraz Mac, narzędzia do odtwarzania danych po awarii (jak RTRR lub rsync z backupem w chmurze do Microsoft Azure, Amazon S3/Glacier, Google Cloud Storage, Rackspace, IBM SoftLayer oraz HP Helion Cloud), a także do synchronizacji plików i dokumentów.
Serwer może działać jak NVR – nagrywarka sieciowa wideo, można go włączyć do systemu monitoringu IP. Jest także aplikacja do pracy grupowej w chmurze prywatnej i funkcja strumieniowego przesyłania multimediów. Użytkownik może odtwarzać pliki audio i wideo przechowywane na TS-431U na kompatybilnych z DLNA telewizorach smart oraz odtwarzaczach multimedialnych.
