Politechnika Śląska kupuje masę sprzętu. Jest oferta w przetargu.
Politechnika Śląska w Gliwicach zamawia sukcesywne dostawy sprzętu komputerowego. Obejmują 265 desktopów, 220 laptopów, ponad 250 monitorów (w tym 50 szt. UHD 4K), 55 drukarek i MFP, 290 terminali dostępu, 5 serwerów i 10 skanerów.
Uczelnia zastrzega natomiast, że rzeczywista ilość kupowanych urządzeń będzie określana w trakcie trwania umowy – może być zarówno mniejsza, jak i większa w prawie opcji.
Na realizację zamówienia politechnika przygotowała bez mała 2,5 mln zł brutto. Jedyną ofertę złożył iCod.pl o wartości 1,95 mln zł.
Cena ma 60 proc. wagi w kryteriach wyboru, a gwarancja 40 proc.
Umowa zostanie podpisana na pół roku, licząc od 23 lipca br. Zamawiający będzie miał na dostarczenie urządzeń 14 dni (lub 21 w przypadku terminali), od dnia otrzymania zlecenia z politechniki. Uczelnia wyposaży w zamawiane urządzenia swoje obiekty w Gliwicach, Zabrzu, Rybniku i Katowicach.

Politechnika Śląska i Philips Health Systems inwestują w perspektywiczny rynek. Będą razem pracować nad innowacjami w zakresie e-zdrowia. Celem jest m.in. rozwój systemów ułatwiających komunikację między lekarzami i zdalne diagnozowanie pacjentów.

W ubiegłym tygodniu na gliwickiej uczelni policja odkryła 20 nielegalnych serwerów. Zatrzymano 120 dysków twardych - poinformował Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
