Dwie światowe korporacje łączą siły. Obie mają spółki w Polsce.
DXC kupi Luxoft za 2 mld dol. Finalizacja transakcji jest spodziewana do połowy 2019 r.
DXC to koncern powstały w 2017 r. w wyniku połączenia dawnego działu usług korporacyjnych HPE oraz spółki CSC. Z kolei Luxoft, szwajcarski koncern, jest jednym z największych graczy na rynku konsultingu i outsourcingu IT, specjalizuje się również w rozwoju oprogramowania. Zatrudnia 13 tys. osób. W ciągu roku uzyskał 911 mln dol. przychodów.
Oferta obu usługowych gigantów ma uzupełniać się. Luxoft powinien wzmocnić ofertę DXC w takich obszarach jak analityka, BI, Internet rzeczy i blockchain. Wniesie także kompetencje branżowe w takich sektorach jak motoryzacja, finanse i opieka zdrowotna. Korporacje po połączeniu sił chcą być potentatem na rynku usług finansowych m.in. w Europie.
