Producenci zwiększają zapasy tabletów w magazynach
W III kw. br. producenci tworzyli zapasy sprzętu przed okresem świątecznym. Dostawy tabletów na światowy rynek według prognozy były wyższe o 16,3 proc. niż w II kw. br.
Według Digitimes Research dostawy tabletów na światowy rynek w III kw. sięgnęły 47 mln szt. W porównaniu z III kw. ub.r. oznacza to spadek o 10 proc., a wzrost w odniesieniu do II kw. br. o 16,3 proc., w związku tworzeniem zapasów w Europie i Ameryce. Popyt zwiększyło także ożywienie gospodarcze na niektórych rynkach. Najwięksi gracze są jednak ostrożni, jeśli chodzi o prognozy na najbliższe kwartały. Dla Samsunga rosnącą konkurencją w segmencie modeli z dolnej i średniej półki są tanie chińskie marki. Lenovo w III kw. powinno wyprzedzić Amazona awansując na pozycję nr 3 w rankingu producentów, natomiast dział tabletów firmy skoncentruje się w większym stopniu na chromebookach i innych urządzeniach z Androidem.
