Producenci notebooków chcą cięcia cen
Vendorzy domagają się od montowni laptopów ODM i producentów komponentów obniżenia cen, co ma pomóc w utrzymaniu rentowności na dotychczasowym poziomie.
Pierwsze obniżek zażądało Lenovo. Zmniejszenie kosztów produkcji to jeden głównych celów firmy na 2014 r. Można spodziewać się, że podobne wymagania będą mieli inni producenci w zapytaniach o cenę (RFQ) na 2015 r., które zostaną rozesłane do firm ODM w czerwcu br.
Aby spełnić te oczekiwania, dostawcy ODM muszą obniżyć koszty komponentów, w tym obudowy, złączy, zasilaczy, radiatora.
