Polska firma wybuduje fabrykę półprzewodników
Ammono – spółka założona przez polskich wynalazców, którzy opatentowali innowacyjną technologię produkcji półprzewodników – zbuduje własną fabrykę pod Warszawą.
Według Pulsu Biznesu zakład powstanie w Nieporęcie. Produkcja prawdopodobnie ruszy w 2015 r. Wartość inwestycji to ok. 50 mln zł. Prawie 20 mln zł wynosi kwota dofinansowania z funduszu Innowacyjna Gospodarka na wsparcie pierwszego wdrożenia wynalazku. Założyciele firmy – Leszek Sierzputowski i Robert Dwiliński – naukowcy zajmujący się fizyką i chemią, opracowali unikalną technologię produkcji kryształów azotku galu, który można zastosować do wytwarzania diod półprzewodnikowych. Polscy pasjonaci swoje badania rozpoczęli już w latach dziewięćdziesiątych. Ammono powstało w 2001 r. (obecnie Robert Dwiliński jest prezesem spółki, a Leszek Sierzputowski członkiem rady nadzorczej). Zbigniew Górecki z Ammono poinformował serwis Evertiq.pl, że konkurencja jest 2 lata za polską firmą i produkcja zakładu powinna sprzedać się na pniu.
