Policja nie odpuszcza przedsiębiorcom – piratom
Służby kontynuują akcje skierowane przeciwko firmom, które używają nielegalnego oprogramowania. Tym razem na celowniku znalazły się drukarnie.
Funkcjonariusze z Wydziału do walki z Przestępczością Gospodarczą Komendy Miejskiej i Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Białymstoku kilka dni temu wkroczyli do jednej z drukarń na terenie powiatu. W akcji uczestniczył biegły z zakresu informatyki. Po sprawdzeniu firmowych komputerów okazało się, że na czterech z nich, a także na jednym dysku zewnętrznym, znajduje się nielegalne oprogramowanie. Były to aplikacje biurowe i graficzne. Ich wartość oszacowano wstępnie na 50 tys. zł.
– Niewykluczone, że w najbliższym czasie podobne przeszukania zostaną przeprowadzone w innych miastach, w firmach zajmujących się drukiem – zapowiada Bartłomiej Witucki, koordynator BSA w Polsce.
Zgodnie z kodeksem karnym – za uzyskanie cudzego programu
komputerowego bez zgody osoby uprawnionej w celu osiągnięcia korzyści
majątkowej, grozi do 5 lat pozbawienia wolności.
