Asus powiększył asortyment o płytę główną M4A88TD-M/USB3 z chipsetem AMD 880G/SB850. Jest to urządzenie przystosowane do instalacji procesorów z serii Phenom II, Athlon II i Sempron 100.
Na płycie można umieścić maksymalnie 16 GB pamięci RAM DDR3. M4A88TD-M/USB3 ma jedno złącze PCI-E 2.0 x16, dwa PCI-E 2.0 x1, jedno PCI, 6 portów SATA 6.0 Gb/s, dwa USB 3.0 i 12 w standardzie USB 2.0, a także m.in. jedno HDMI i D-sub.
Urządzenie wykorzystuje rozwiązanie nazywane Dual Intelligent Processors, w którym zintegrowany na płycie procesor, tzw. TPU (TurboV Processing Unit) przejmuje część obciążeń CPU, zwiększając jego wydajność – według producenta – o 37 procent. Drugi z układów, EPU (Energy Processing Unit), ogranicza zużycie prądu, automatycznie regulując zasilanie w zależności od potrzeb.
