PGE stawia na innowacje
Polska Grupa Energetyczne przeznaczy na wspieranie start-upów co najmniej 25 mln zł rocznie.
Grupa Kapitałowa PGE planuje szeroką współpracę ze start-upami, które zaproponują innowacyjne rozwiązania i technologie służące rozwojowi energetyki. Na ich wspieranie przeznaczy co najmniej 25 mln zł rocznie.
Utworzony fundusz PGE Ventures zajmie się inwestycjami kapitałowymi w start-upy. Będzie dysponował środkami własnymi na poziomie 20-22 mln zł rocznie. Będzie miał również możliwość pozyskiwania funduszy od prywatnych inwestorów. Poza tym będzie się starał pozyskać finansowanie zewnętrzne w ramach PFR Ventures – podmiotu, który w sumie dysponuje budżetem o wartości ponad 1,6 mld zł.
Za inkubację i akcelerację projektów na najwcześniejszym etapie ich rozwoju będzie odpowiadała spółka PGE Nowa Energia. Jej budżet wyniesie 3-5 mln zł rocznie. Start-upy na odpowiednio zaawansowanym poziomie rozwoju przekazywane będą ze spółki PGE Nowa Energia do spółki PGE Ventures w celu kapitalizacji i docelowo komercjalizacji rozwijanych produktów lub technologii.
