Oszustwo na OLX nadal aktualne. Sprzedawcy na celowniku
Sprzedawcy nadal padają ofiarami oszustów – ostrzegają eksperci.
Chociaż to zagrożenie pojawiło się w sieci już kilka miesięcy temu, wygląda na to, że nadal wielu użytkowników OLX o nim nie słyszało.
Oszuści nadal próbują wyłudzać pieniądze za pomocą platformy OLX – ostrzega CyberRescue. Tylko w trakcie długiego weekendu firma odebrała ponad 40 zgłoszeń od zaniepokojonych sprzedawców na OLX.
Jak działają oszuści
Sprzedawca otrzymuje wiadomość za pośrednictwem komunikatora WhatsApp z informacją, że ktoś kupił jego wystawiony produkt. Przestępcy w ten sposób próbują wyłudzić dane do karty płatniczej, co pozwoli rzekomo odebrać należność za sprzedaż. W tym oszustwie nadal wykorzystywany jest wizerunek firmy kurierskiej InPost.
W ten sposób można stracić wszystkie oszczędności, znajdujące się na koncie bankowym – ostrzega CyberRescue. Nigdy dane karty nie służą do odebrania pieniędzy – przypomina.
Jeżeli sprzedawca na OLX otrzyma wiadomość z informacją o konieczności podania danych, aby otrzymać zapłatę, możemy spodziewać się, że jest to oszustwo.
O atakach na sprzedawców na OLX ostrzegał kilka miesięcy temu CSIRT KNF i CERT Polska.
Również OLX informował, że niejednokrotnie przestrzegał użytkowników przed zagrożeniami.
OLX to największa po Allegro platforma e-commerce w Polsce pod względem zasięgu i liczby użytkowników (ok. 18 mln miesięcznie).

We Wrocławiu wpadł cyberprzestępca, który do dokonywania oszustw zbudował zaplecze sprzętu i oprogramowania.
