Na rynek weszła nowa wersja tabletu Shield – K1. Urządzenie jest dostępne z kontrolerem gier i usługą strumieniowania gier Nvidia GeForce Now.
Tablet wyposażono w 8-calowy wyświetlacz Full HD 1080p i procesor Tegra K1 z 192-rdzeniową jednostką GPU opartą na architekturze Kepler oraz CPU ARM Cortex-A15 (2,2 GHz) i 2 GB RAM. Pojemność pamięci wynosi 16 GB. Slot na kartę microSD umożliwia jej rozszerzenie do 128 GB.
Z przodu umieszczono dwa głośniki. Opcjonalne etui służy również jako podstawka oraz kontroler.
Gracze mogą również skorzystać z usługi strumieniowania gier GeForce Now. Po 3 miesiącach gratisu jest ona płatna (9,99 euro miesięcznie).
Cena tabletu w retailu: 849 zł, kontroler – 249 zł, etui -129 zł,, rysik – 79 zł, ładowarka z wtyczkami na cały świat – 99 zł.
