nVidia i HP stworzyły nowy rodzaj stacji roboczych
HP zaprezentowało stację roboczą typu All-in-One z 27-calowym wyświetlaczem i kartami nVidia Quadro.
Stacja HP Z1 została wyposażona w procesor Intela (w zależności od konfiguracji – od i3-2120,
Xeon E3-1245 lub Xeon E3-1280). Maksymalna pojemność RAM-u wynosi 32 GB, a dysku twardego – 2 TB (7200 obr./min.; będą także wersje z SSD). Komputer ma dwie zatoki na 2,5-calowe napędy i jedną na 3,5-calowy. Rozdzielczość 27-calowego wyświetlacza LED IPS wynosi 2560×1440 pikseli.
W HP Z1 zainstalowano układy graficzne nVidia Quadro, zaprojektowane w ramach współpracy obu producentów dla stacji roboczych All-In-One. Jak zapewnia dostawca, karty cechuje niski pobór mocy i mniejsza emisja ciepła. W zależności od konfiguracji na wyposażeniu będą układy Quadro 500M, 1000M, 3000M i 4000M. Dwa ostatnie mają po 2 GB pamięci GDDR5.
HP Z1 pojawi się na rynku w II kw. br. Przewidywana cena detaliczna: od 1899 dol. (6172 zł po kursie 3,25 zł za 1 dol.).
