Nowe usługi UPS w Polsce
Firma kurierska wprowadza w naszym kraju dwie usługi – My Choice oraz Access Point. Przedsiębiorcy mogą dołączyć do sieci punktów odbioru UPS.
My Choice umożliwia – po rejestracji w usłudze – wcześniejsze powiadamianie odbiorcy o dostawie i możliwość przekierowana paczek na inny adres albo zmiany terminu dostawy. Z kolei Access Point pozwala klientowi na wybór innego miejsca odbioru paczki niż dom czy firma, także wtedy, gdy przesyłka jest już w drodze. Można ją skierować np. do sklepu. Przedsiębiorcy zainteresowani wejściem do sieci Access Point powinni zgłosić się w tej sprawie do UPS.
Uzasadniając wprowadzenie innowacji UPS przytacza własne badania, według których w 2013 r. 34 proc. europejskich klientów kupujących w Internecie chce korzystać z alternatywnych miejsc odbioru paczek.
