Nowe serie Fujitsu
Fujitsu zaprezentowało dwie nowe serie twardych dysków SCSI - MAN3xxx (10 tys. obr./min) i MAM3xxx (15 tys. obr./min)
Fujitsu zaprezentowało dwie nowe serie twardych dysków SCSI:
– W skład serii MAN3xxx (10 tys. obr./min) wchodzą trzy nowe modele o pojemnościach 18,4, 36,7 i 73,5 GB. Maksymalny wewnętrzny transfer danych wynosi 84 MB/s, czas wyszukiwania – 4,5 ms. Dyski mają interfejsy SCSI U160 i U320 lub światłowodowy FC-AL 2 Gb/s (tylko modele 36,7 i 73,5 GB).
– Nowe dyski z serii MAM3xxx (15 tys. obr./min) to modele o pojemności 18,4 i 36,7 GB. Maksymalny wewnętrzny transfer danych wynosi 84 MB/s, czas wyszukiwania – poniżej 4 ms.
Nowe dyski pojawią się w sprzedaży w czerwcu br. Ceny netto napędów z serii MAN będą wynosiły od 235 do 580 dol., zaś dysków z serii MAM – od 385 do 755 dol. Dystrybutorami napędów są AB, Alstor i California Computer.
