Dagma Sysytems, wyłączny importer notebooków Asusa, wprowadził do sprzedaży nową serię tych komputerów z matrycą TFT 13,3 cala. Nowe modele A1300 z wyposażone są w procesory Intel Celeron 500-700 MHz lub Pentium III 450-850 MHz, 64 MB pamięci SDRAM na płycie z chipsetem Sis630 oraz twarde dyski 10 lub 20 GB. Notebooki mają też standardowo faksmodem 56 k, kartę sieciową Sis630 10/100 Mbps. Karta graficzna 16 MB VRAM Sis630 sterowana jest z pamięci notebooka (shared system memory). Opcjonalnie może być dołączony napęd DVD 8x.
W komplecie wraz z komputerem klient otrzymuje torbę – plecak, słuchawki multimedialne, mysz Asus USB, oprogramowanie ViaVoice Milennium Edition oraz grę.
