Niedobór CPU znów namiesza na rynku PC
W 2020 r. segment PC z SSD może negatywnie odczuć niedostateczną podaż procesorów.
Braki procesorów Intela mogą ograniczyć zastosowanie SSD w komputerach w 2020 r. – twierdzi Digitimes, powołując się na informacje z firm z łańcucha dostaw.
Zdaniem Digitimes niedostateczna podaż na CPU Intela utrzyma się w I i II kw. 2020 r., co może ograniczyć wzrost dostaw PC na rynek. Może to wpłynąć na ograniczenie zapotrzebowania na SSD do komputerów z tego powodu, że coraz więcej maszyn jest wyposażana w dyski półprzewodnikowe. Szacuje się, że w II poł. 2019 r. już większość sprzedawanych laptopów i desktopów (55 – 60 proc.) miała na podkładzie SSD. Ten udział rośnie.
Znacznie mniej nośników SSD mają natomiast wszystkie PC będące obecnie w użyciu. Według danych Avast za 2018 r. ten odsetek wynosił 15 proc. (w tym połowa ma napęd hybrydowy). Firma ocenia, że w 2021 r. większość maszyn w domach i firmach będzie wyposażona w SSD.
