Nexo: smartfon dla seniora
Jamicon wprowadził na rynek smartfon Nexo iZi, który ma domyślnie ustawione duże kafelki na ekranie dotykowym, przycisk SOS i inne dodatki zaprojektowane z myślą o osobach starszych.
W urządzeniu zainstalowano dwurdzeniowy procesor MTK MT6572 (1 GHz), 512 MB RAM-u, 4 GB pamięci flash oraz Androida 4.2.2.
Na 4-calowym ekranie smartfona (800 x 400 pikseli) po uruchomieniu widoczne są 4 kafelki do połączeń telefonicznych, SMS-ów i Internetu. Urządzenie ma jeden przycisk systemowy zamiast trzech znanych ze standardowych wersji Androida. Na obudowie jest guzik SOS, – może uruchomić połączenie z bliską osobą, wysłać SMS-y alarmowe i włączyć głośny sygnał dźwiękowy.
Smartfon ma wbudowaną latarkę, radio FM, które można uruchomić bez słuchawek, GPS. Aplikacja „Caller Name Talker” odczytuje dane kontaktowe osoby dzwoniącej, bądź wysyłającej SMS. Może również odczytywać całe wiadomości tekstowe. Natomiast „Real Time Tracker 2” pozwala na udostępnienie informacji o swojej lokalizacji znajomym czy rodzinie. W pakiecie oprogramowania jest elektroniczna wersja karty Telegrosik z doładowaniem o wartości 20 zł.
