ProSafe XSM7224 to 10-gigabitowy zarządzalny switch z serii M7100, przeznaczony do instalacji w sieciach korporacyjnych i akademickich.
XSM7224 ma 24 miedziane porty o przepustowości 10 Gb/s, cztery SFP+ (1G bE/10 GbE). Przełącznik wyposażono w dwa redundantne źródła zasilania w systemie hot-swap (drugi zasilacz jest dostępny odpłatnie) oraz dwa wymienialne wentylatory, chłodzące urządzenie od frontu do tyłu. Kolejne cechy to statyczny routing, ACL i QoS oraz tablica MAC o wielkości 32K, 6K ARP/NDP 1K, VLAN.
Switch tak jak inne urządzenia z serii M7100 ma funkcje automatycznej optymalizacji iSCSI, a także możliwość ustawienia prywatnych, wirtualnych sieci lokalnych (VLAN) oraz Proxy ARP.
Gwarancja na urządzenie jest dożywotnia.
