Overland Data, producent zautomatyzowanych urządzeń do backupu przedstawił nową rodzinę bibliotek taśmowych LibraryXpress Neo. Napędy lub zasilacze mogą być wymieniane podczas pracy urządzenia (Hot Swap). Równoległe elementy mogą być aktywowane z panelu sterowania biblioteki, zdalnie poprzez sieć komputerową oraz automatycznie dzięki dostarczonym skryptom.
Każdy z napędów należących do rodziny Neo może zawierać 1 lub 2 napędy taśmowe oraz 26 (DLT) lub 30 (LTO) kaset. Biblioteka może składać się z 8 modułów, co w sumie daje rozwiązanie posiadające 16 napędów, do 24 TB pojemności oraz do 460 GB/h wydajności. Możliwość obsługi interfejsu Fibre Channel pozwala na wykorzystanie rodziny Neo w typowych dla SAN zastosowaniach jak LAN-free backup (Backup z ominięciem sieci LAN) i Server-free backup (backup z ominięciem serwerów). Ceny SRP urządzeń rozpoczynają się od 23 tys. dol.
