MSI: netbook z baterią na 15 godzin
W ofercie MSI pojawił się kolejny netbook z serii Wind – model U160DX z matrycą o przekątnej 10,1 cala. Według producenta komputer pracuje na baterii do 15 godzin.
Ekran netbooka ma rozdzielczość WSVGA (1024×600 pikseli), charakteryzuje się czasem odświeżania 8 ms. Komputer został wyposażony w procesor Intel Atom N455, 1 GB RAM DDR3 i dysk twardy o pojemności 250 GB. W urządzeniu zamontowano także moduł sieciowy w standardzie 802.11 b/g/n oraz moduł Bluetooth 2.1. Opcjonalnie jest dostępna wersja z modemem 3G. Wśród złącz są trzy USB 2.0. U160DX ma klawiaturę wyspową, w obudowie znajdują się głośniki HD Audio.
W urządzeniu zamontowano 6-ogniwową baterię, która – według producenta – umożliwia pracę do 15 godzin bez doładowania. U160 ma funkcję zarządzania energią, umożliwiającą przełączanie pomiędzy różnymi trybami pracy, w zależności od obciążenia i uruchamianych aplikacji. Zainstalowany system to Windows 7 Starter.
