Producent zaprezentował mobilne urządzenie dla handlu - MC18 Personal Shopper. Ma uprościć klientom zakupy i ułatwić pracę personelowi.
MC18 od Motorola Solutions to połączenie skanera i komputera, wyposażone w system Windows Embedded Compact 7.0, dwurdzeniowy procesor TI OMAP4430 (800 MHz) oraz 4-calowy ekran z funkcją pinch-and-zoom (powiększanie i zmniejszanie obrazu poprzez zsuwanie lub rozsuwanie palców). Umożliwia klientom samodzielne skanowanie towarów z pomocą wbudowanego czytnika kodów 1D i 2D. Technologia Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) pozwala na wdrażanie aplikacji, które pomogą odnaleźć produkty. MC 18 przydaje się również personelowi do kontroli cen i zarządzania zapasami. Może działać w połączeniu z aplikacjami do wyboru produktów przez pracowników sklepu realizujących zamówienia internetowe.
Na baterii urządzenie działa do 9 godz. Można je doładować na stacji dokującej.
