Ministerstwo Finansów zainteresowane e-walutą
Projekt ustawy o Centralnej Bazie Rachunków wpłynął do Rządowego Centrum Legislacji.
Elektroniczny rejestr ma umożliwić sprawną identyfikację właścicieli rachunków bankowych. Oprócz banków, SKOK-ów, informacje do bazy mają przekazywać dostawcy usług płatniczych, fundusze emerytalne, fundusze inwestycyjne a także… podmioty oferujące usługi związane z wirtualną walutą.
Według Ministerstwa Finansów podstawowym celem wprowadzenia ustawy jest szybka lokalizacja majątków pochodzących z przestępstw i usprawnienie postępowań egzekucyjnych. Nie chodzi natomiast o wgląd w stan konta obywateli – uspokaja misterstwo oraz przedstawiciele banków. Z rejestru będą korzystały sądy, prokuratury, policja i służby – na przykład CBA, ABW.
