Zamierza zatrudnić 1 tys. pracowników.
Nowy oddział wyróżnia koncentracja na technologiach webowych w Agile i DevOps –– komentuje Jerzy Szwarc, Head Portfolio NSC w Capgemini Polska.
Capgemini Polska otworzyło biuro w Gdańsku. W pierwszym roku jego działalności firma planuje zatrudnić w nowym oddziale 200 osób, a ciągu 3 lat łącznie ok. 1 tys. pracowników.
Gdański zespół skoncentruje się na projektach webowych: w Agile i DevOps oraz wykorzystujących Java, .NET, Angular, React. Projekty będą zarządzane lokalnie.
„To, co będzie odróżniało nowy oddział od pozostałych istniejących już centrów Capgemini to skupienie na technologiach webowych w Agile i DevOps” – twierdzi Jerzy Szwarc, Head Portfolio NSC w Capgemini Polska.
Capgemini twierdzi, że zdecydowała się na wejście do Gdańska z uwagi na prężny rozwój Trójmiasta jako ośrodka IT.
Na początek gdański oddział będzie obsługiwał trzech strategicznych klientów, w tym zarówno projekty globalne, jak i krajowe. Jednym z pierwszych klientów jest niemiecki koncern logistyczny Kuehne+Nagel.
Francuska firma Capgemini na świecie zatrudnia 325 tys. pracowników. W 2021 r. miała 18 mld euro przychodów. W Polsce oprócz nowego oddziału w Gdańsku ma centra usług biznesowych w Krakowie, Warszawie, Wrocławiu, Katowicach, Poznaniu, Opolu i Lublinie.
