Microsoft: uniwersalna mobilna klawiatura
Nową klawiaturę od Microsoftu - Universal Mobile Keyboard - można połączyć z trzema urządzeniami z różnymi systemami operacyjnymi.
Przykład Universal Mobile Keyboard ilustruje istotne elementy strategii Microsoftu – nacisk na mobilność oraz współpracę rozwiązań firmy z innymi systemami niż Windows.
Do prawidłowego działania klawiatury wymagane jest urządzenie z Bluetooth HID z systemem Windows 8/RT lub wyższym, Androidem od 4.0 oraz iOS od wersji 6. Między nimi można przełączać za pomocą jednego przycisku. Klawisz Home pozwala przenieść się do głównego ekranu niezależnie od systemu urządzenia połączonego z klawiaturą.
Universal Mobile Keyboard ma osłonę z wbudowanym stojakiem do telefonu lub tabletu. Po otwarciu pokrywy można aktywować połączenie Bluetooth, a następnie ustawić urządzenie w stojaku. Aby się rozłączyć, wystarczy zamknąć pokrywę klawiatury.
Według producenta akumulator Universal Mobile Keyboard wystarcza na 6 miesięcy pracy bez ładowania. Ładowanie przez 10 min. pozwala na 8-godzinną pracę.
